Coca-Cola | Fan Work is Thirsty Work

In the spring, I was the Beverage Stylist on another of Coca-Cola’s “Fan Work is Thirsty Work” series. This one highlighted the rivalry between college football teams - notably, University of Michigan and Ohio State, go Wolverines! (Fun fact - my great-grandfather was an usher at football games in the Big House.) As always, a Coke commercial production is an event on it’s own. We were at a diner in El Segundo one day, and had an overnight shoot at the LA Coliseum the next - the same place where the opening ceremonies for the 1984 Olympics were held (and maybe the 2028 LA Olympics?) There were sizzling barbeques, a giant inflatable elephant, and a marching band complete with drum major, plus lots and lots of Coke cans, bottles, and cups to keep icy cold and color calibrated.
